Mod Mama is in transition!
Becky, our manager extraordinaire is on her way to Boston University for grad school (Congratulations, Becky!)
At the same time, I’ve been focusing more on my Rocket 10 line and consulting – two things I am able to do while having Lola home with me most of the time.

With Becky’s school on the horizon, this seemed like the perfect time to transition the store to a new owner who wants to make it her own and is able to be in the shop!

We are seeking someone -
• with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• who would love to provide a unique shopping
experience for their community.
• who would like to bypass the early difficulties of
a startup and take advantage of the assets of an established retail shop.
• who would seek opportunities to expand and
create their own vision.

Mod Mama is a flexible and beautiful business and ready to be the canvas for it’s next owner!

Okay – so I did get rained on a bit (where’s my cool tent? I wondered.) But we had a blast.  Tons of new prints and new color tees, including dino onesie, which I love and some great new tees for adults.  Yes, I’m wearing the robot tee in this picture – hooray!

Missed the fair?  Come on down to the shop and catch all the new goodies.  We’ve still got them at our blow-out art festival pricing – $15 each or 2 for $25.  Cheap, cute and locally produced?  Oh the joy!

Happy Father’s Day to all you Rad Dad’s out there!

We’ve got all the “My Dad Rocks!” tees in stock in 0-3 months through 8 years.  (now with a cool pink ringer version for girls!)

All our groovy Rocket 10 line is now $15 for any tee or onesie and 2 for $25.

By popular demand we also printed some dad’s tee shirts in men’s L and XL – we have drum kit and green vespa both for big guys and little guys.

Come on over to the Downcity Arts Fest this Saturday to support local artists, check out crafts, eat, drink and be merry!

I’ll be there with the Rocket 10 line, designed and produced right here in the biggest little.  In addition to our ever groovy onesies and tees (3months – 8 years) we’re adding a few styles for adults and we’ll have some of our new fall line of gorgeous print fine corduroy dresses to see.

These tiered flutter-sleeved dresses are made of cotton voile – which is an airy light summer fabric – perfect for summer romping. Lola has already tried both prints to her delight!

The sun is here! Don’t forget cute and practical sunhats for your little ones!
Lola loves her Rabbit Moon hat which has a big floppy brim. Extra cute and good sun protection!

We romped around the zoo last week and though Lola couln’t be bothered to use a stroller, her fair little noggin was at least protected as she roamed the zoo at top speed, looking for a “Yiyon!” (lion).

For those kiddos that don’t like hats – we have the Zutano versions that tie on.

Lola is ready to picnic!
Seen here wearing her Rocket10 cupcake dress (”Cake!!” she yells when she puts it on). We have been enjoying our backyard and the shady grove of bamboo growing there.

Hope you are getting out to picnic too! We just got the new skip hop Central Park Picnic Blankets in which double as a cooler bag. Like all Skip Hop stuff, they’re cute, hearty and well priced. Check them out online.
